This blog has been too quiet, so this post is a start to more regular posts. Let’s spend a few minutes to see what’s new, what’s still the same and what is upcoming for Dynamics GP.
I’m writing this blog at the start of Summit 2022 in Orlando. It’s great to see so many familiar faces and I look froward to meeting many new people this week. The user group conferences are such a great way to connect with everyone and learn more both at the conference and in the future from your new connections.
The largest “What’s New” with GP is the release of GP 18.5 just one week ago. GP has a cadence of a new feature release each October and this year was right on time. New features including posting of GL batches upon Workflow approval, compatibility with Windows and SQL Server 2022, and many new user requested features to make GP even better!
What’s not new is that GP continues to be supported and enhanced by Microsoft. There are many confusing messages being shared both intentionally and unintentionally in the market, but it is clear that Microsoft does and will continue to support Dynamics GP. And with that, myself and my team at sa.global continue to support GP and have an unmatched team in skill and customer focus to support GP and any Microsoft platform that you may be on. If you are not getting the support you need or are being told to move off of GP when not your choice, we would be happy to help you out.
For those that are at Summit this week, please stop by booth 200 or find me at one of my sessions and say hi. If you're not, please reach out and I’d be happy to connect, talk and if you are looking for support will be happy to offer and provide it with our world class team at sa.global.
